Having never owned an EV before, I didn't know what to do when my 2018 smart car fortwo wouldn't start. The red warning message said don't even think about turning on the engine and don't try to charge it, just read the owner's manual. I did but wished I hadn't because the manual said it could be almost anything. Luckily, it happened in my garage late at night, so I had time to think. The next day, I found Pete's website. They told me on the phone that I would need to have it towed and that I could bring it in the next day. Everyone I encountered was courteous, professional and polite. Looking around at the clean and well organized shop, I knew I was in good hands so I walked the six blocks back home and waited. Seems the original battery, now 7 years old, had been leaking fluid. They sent me a picture of the coroded terminals and an estimate for a new battery and related installation and cleanup. They also told me I was seriously late for some scheduled maintenance and made a list of things that needed fixing. It was a relief to know exactly what needed work and what didn't. So, I gave them the OK on the battery and cleanup and less than two hours later, my car was fixed and ready to go. They also put things back that I had left in the passenger area in preparation for the towing, so everything was neat and tidy. Thank you, Pete's. You haven't seen the last of me!

I feel like Pete's is the best place to take your mercedes if you care about your car and want the job done right. I took in my '81 wagon after hearing some grinding noises and learned the rear brakes had seized up. Their quote was a bit higher than I had anticipated, but I saw they planned to use all OEM parts, and given that, I felt their price was actually pretty fair. I feel good having invested in a top quality repair for my vintage benz. Also, they're super friendly and professional. I was speaking with Greg on the phone and I was asking him a bunch of additional questions about my old w123 and he was very generous with his time explaining everything to me and sharing his knowledge and perspectives. Next time my wagon needs help, I'll be back at Pete's.

Danny is great! Whenever I bring my moms car in, there is a long list of items that need to be fixed. What can you expect with a 2965 Mercedes? Things give out. The challenge is finding parts. Good thing the bill was not too expensive this time. Car sounds like the day my mom received it.

Pete's was a bad experience with rude incompetence - he told me my S-5 was worth $1000 and after I donated it, it was sold for $10,000 at a charity auction. Very expensive, quite misleading and unhelpful. The amount of spam I get is quite annoying.

Apurv, I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. To be clear, we only told you what was wrong with your car which was a lot. Bad news is hard to take sometimes. As you donated the car, I think you came to this conclusion as well.

Great service the people were wonderful they immediately located my problem fix it in less than 24 hours I would definitely recommend them to any of my family and friends definitely will be taking my car back there again in the future

This is the best auto repair shop in the city. They are knowledgeable and dependable. Their prices are reasonable. I wouldnt go to any other shop.
