Finally, a great dealer alternative .... I recently purchased a Mercedes '02 CL55 AMG that had been, figuratively speaking, in a time capsule for 17 years; the prior owner had driven the car 13K miles. After a couple of poor experiences with a local Mercedes dealership, I started searching for an independent repair shop that specializes in Mercedes. Quite by accident I found Pete's tucked away on Clay St in SF, and certainly glad I did. After a quick look inside their shop, I looked up their website and easily made a service appointment, received a confirming text, and a day or two before my appointment I received a call from Mario, who confirmed my appointment and the reason for my visit. Right from the start, I was confident I had made a good choice. When I take my Mercedes to Pete's, the work is done right the first time, on time, and for less than I would pay at a dealership.
