If there were an option to give more than 5 stars to this establishment, I would. Incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and HONEST proprietors. I strongly recommend to anyone who owns a Mercedes Benz to trust Greg and Mario to treat your car with the utmost care when it comes to all your maintenance requirements.

Here's my recent Yelp review: I don't usually write Yelp reviews but these guys totally deserve 5 stars, 10 stars even. I have been going to them for years for annual oil service and occasional repairs. Mario at the front desk and Greg the owner have always been extremely kind and courteous and upfront and fair about their pricing. Their staff is very professional and competent and has kept my car running smoothly for years. What motivated me to finally write this review was that while driving home from work two evenings ago, my 20 year old BMW 3 series "Service Engine Soon" warning light suddenly came on and the car started shuddering while idle and hesitating on acceleration, which was really scary especially while sitting in heavy traffic on Van Ness Ave. I knew Pete's was only a few blocks away and was relieved to see that their garage door was still open. However, they had already closed half an hour ago. They could have rightfully turned me away since they were already closed for the day. I wouldn't have been able to take my car in the next day because of my work hours and I was afraid to drive it any longer. Thank goodness Mario was so kind and accommodating, and took down the info and let me leave my car with them overnight. The next day, he called and told me the issue (4th ignition coil was out), and after I approved the repair estimate, he said that the car would be ready that afternoon. Since I work outside of SF and wouldn't be able to get back to their shop before they closed for the day, he suggested that they park the car outside and I could use my spare key to drive it home which worked out perfectly. I am so grateful and lucky to have these guys in my neighborhood, they are absolutely THE BEST!!!
